Howdy there, fellow Endless Online players. Welcome to Endless Ranting, my brand spanking new blog. I know it says "Endless Online Ranting" in the URL, but Endless Ranting was already taken as a blogger domain. So just pretend, okay?
I guess I should say a few things about me. I'm Brittany, I am currently six teens, and I live in Mississippi. My main character on Endless is Fmsa, which her name stands for Fear My Southern Accent, a personal website of mine under construction. The name simply stuck for my "alter ego", so to speak.
My character is currently a level 13 and she joined in V.28. Yes, V.28.
I will not lie about my join date. Personally, I don't think a join date should even matter, nor should a title prove your "OLDBIENESS!!11". I'm really sick of being classified as a "newb" whenever I state that I'm from V.28. I think about 4 months of playing an MMORPG should be considered "not a newb" in people's eyes.
The typical "oldbie" would bash me for saying this, but I personally do not give a fuck when you joined an online game. I don't care if you found out about a game before me. And most of all, you can take your dumbass title and turtle outfit and shove it up your ass.
To me, a person should be judged based on their actions and behavior. Does it really matter if I didn't know the street price for a lens within 5 minutes of joining? Those who want to learn the game shouldn't be shunned for it.
Those who torture newbs by tricking them in buying a gob helm or selling them a jack spear for 100 gold are the real newbs. They do not have anything better to do than to chase off any chance of there being a respectable newb on the game. I can assure you if I didn't discover TKN, I probably would've left the game within weeks because of the mass stupidity on the game.
That's why I try my best to make sure any decent new comer feels welcomed. Even if it's just a 5 minute chat or some group training on some sheep. If people looked past the peasant clothes, they'd see some very decent people that just want to learn how to play. But apparently, you have to have an oron and a scav bow to get any respect around here.
So, in conclusion, everyone deserves a chance, and I wish not to be classified as a "newb" just because of my join date and the fact I am not a stat-whore. I think if people just give others a chance, we could turn our hateful community upsidedown.

Hey,there.. =)
I found out about your blog from the EO forums and just finished reading your 1st post.
Sorry to hear that some of the players treated u unkindly in the game. I've been there too when I 1st started a long time ago. Bashed by the "oldbies" then just because I don't know how much one item supposed to cost, how to get to the Skeletons n so on n so forth..
But,luckily.. I too,met a few good players along the way. And now,I tried my best to just help out those who ask for it.
It's people like Xyn who spoil the game for everyone. Sadly, there's alot of 'em on EO now.
I'm not bothered by him/her. Calling people "newbs" to make them seem insulted is childish anyways~
Funny its not an insult. xD
Its short for new player
They use "newb" because of the curse filter.
